If this child is in your care he is your responsibility. The mother had a duty to inform you of the outbursts and how to handle them. The request for medication will need to come from you, not her son and it sounds to me like it needs to be if he is staying here he needs his meds. Anger management is not something you can just stop when you want. It can be terrifying and dangerous.
