What size filter do I need for these lenses?

I just got a Nikon D3100 & have the 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 AF-S DX VR Nikkor Zoom Lens. I will also be getting the 50mm 1.8G Lens. What size filters are compatible with these lenses? If an adapter is necessary, please tell that sizing too. Thanks!
