How do you remove a program from a website?

Say there was a random person who made a program and posted it on a website for people to use. The only people can go on the website are the people who registered and have a username and password. It cost money to register. If you had an account and could use the program would it be possible to take the program off the website and give it to your friends. I was thinking you could copy the code of the program and distribute it. Maybe there's a program to copy HTML code of something and give you the code so you can duplicate the program.
