Why do mitsubishi discontinued making the VR-4?

i mean the vr-4 was a legend, and IMO its far better then the evolution, i mean all the evolution engine & looks r adapted from the last generation vr-4, even the chasis r better then the evo, so will mitsubishi reborn the VR-4??
