Is retirement a beginning?

I think that retirement for some of us is an opportunity as well as a challenge. It may be an opportunity to take advantage of the available time to learn, to try & to do things that One did not have time to do while having a career or raising a family. It is a challenge to make a schedule when I has no need to do anymore. A challenge to exercise the body & the mind with additional tasks that are also no necessary. A challenge to not over indulge in any One's desires to excess - be it food, drink, gambling, sex or other pleasurable activities.
