What do I need to hook up my amp?

I'm a total rookie with audio. I bought 2 kicker 12'' Comp Vr subs in a ported box. I have them both hooked up to my kenwood 1000 watt mono amp. now that I have done this where do I hook my amp up to? what wires do I need to use? I drive a 2005 F-150 if that helps.
